BIO
Job Ethan Christenson started his career right here in North Dakota with Fire Hall Theater, Central High School and Frost Fire Mountain. After attending the University of Michigan and working at Music Theatre of Wichita, Job did CATS on Broadway and RAGTIME, JOSEPH, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, performed for the citywide July 4th Celebration in Chicago, the White House Theodore Roosevelt Birthday Celebration, Nancy La Mott and friends plus numerous benefits and voice-overs in New York. He then worked in Chicago doing productions with Marriot Lincolnshire and Chicago Shakespeare. He returned to ND to run the ND Ballet Company and Apprentice School and Crimson Creek Players. He directed for five years at Central High School, SPA, Fire Hall Theatre, Frost Fire Mountain Summer Theatre, various middle school and elementary schools, and at the University Of North Dakota Theatre School as an adjunct professor. He went on to do two summers as a featured performer and Cohost at the Medora Musical, Florida Studio Theatre and two years of BILLY ELLIOT the musical.
As a new and beginning playwright, Job Ethan Christenson has written; The Theist, Mfundo, Out of the Human Town, Where the Wild Ones Play, The Living Trees, The Rig, In Bed 1 and 2, Therapy and BOJ; the Book of Me; a one man play. Job was recently published by Indie Theatre Now.
Currently Job is a MSW student at Fordham University. He has a podcast/videocast with his sister, Emily Christenson, called @showdoctorspod and the movie of his one man show BOJ is coming out in the Fall of 2021. He is busy submitting it to festivals.
